Setting the

 SB-600 

to Wireless Remote Mode

1.

   With the unit on, press and hold the

 ZOOM 

and the 

“ – ”

 together for two seconds.

2.

   Press either the

 ZOOM

 or 

MODE

 button to select wireless 

mode

 ON/OFF.

3.

   Press 

ON/OFF

 for one second. The flash will be set in 

the Wireless Remote mode. (Default: CH 3, Group A)

4.

   Press 

MODE

 to highlight the channel (1, 2, 3 or 4) and 

use 

“+/–”

 to select the same channel as the Master Flash.

5.

   Press

 MODE 

again and choose a group (A, B or C). 

The amount of output compensation set for that group  
on the Master Flash will determine the amount of output  
from the Remote Speedlight.

 

 

Be sure to choose the same channel number as set on 
the Master flash unit or in the Commander mode on your camera.

To exit Wireless and return to Normal TTL operation

To reset the SB-600 unit to normal TTL operation, reverse the steps above or hold 

ON/OFF 

and 

MODE 

button for two seconds. To exit remote operation of the SB-900 or SB-700 simply 

turn the ON-OFF switch/wireless settings to the ON position.

To set the 

SB-R200 Remote 

Speedlight

 to the desired 

Group and Channel, simply 
rotate the dial for that  
function.
