Basic Camera Setup: The Setup Menu

The home time zone display appears.

To use the camera in an area where daylight saving time
is in effect, press

to display the

mark on the top of

the monitor and set the daylight saving time. When the
daylight saving time goes into effect, the time is
automatically advanced one hour.

To release the daylight saving time setting, press

to enter the travel destination.

While the travel destination time zone is selected, the

icon will be displayed in the

monitor when the camera is in shooting mode.

The Clock Battery

The clock battery charges when the main battery is installed or an AC adapter is connected, and can
provide several days of backup power after about ten hours of charging.
