to listen to the next ring tone. In order to select the desired ring tone, is suffices to wait until
both LEDs go out (±8s). The last heard ring tone is then set.
Connecting a floor bell push button and modifying its ring tone
You can connect a floor bell push button (a push button with N.O. contact e.g. 05-540)
to the internal unit. Use terminals E and P of the screw connector (fig.3). Switch selector
switch A to OFF and immediately back to ON to modify the ring tone on the internal unit.
Briefly press function key 3. The red and green LED light. Then press function key 2 (fig.4)
to hear the first ring tone. With each press on this function key, you hear the next ring tone
in row. To select the desired ring tone, simply wait for both LEDs to go out (±8s.). The last
heard ring tone is then set.
Connecting (max.) two internal units on one bell push button in parallel
For most external units, you can connect 2 internal units to one bell push button in parallel
manually. For programming, see the user manual of the power supply. If you also wish to
use the floor bell push button in parallel, connect it as shown below
Placing several internal units in parallel on one bell push button
By means of the service set (10-870), you can make internal units function in parallel via
the Master-Slave principle (see user manual 10-870).
