Using the Traveler in an automobile
For safety, when placing the Air Wellness Traveler in a
vehicle, the unit must be securely fastened. It is
designed to be suspended from a seat back.
WARNING: Do not attach the Traveler against any
surface containing an airbag.
In a vehicle, the Traveler is attached with the
harness provided.
1. Pull an end of the harness over one end of the Traveler.
Make sure that the harness is correctly positioned:
(a) The bottom end of the harness contains the two
metal grommets (circular holes) for inserting the
power connectors.
(b) The side of the harness that will be placed against the
seat surface has the top strap attached to that side. The
front of the Traveler faces the other way, outward.
2. When it is correctly positioned, slide the harness
over the Traveler unit, until both ends of the harness
fit snugly over the ends of the Traveler.
3. Pass the top strap loop between the seat back and
the headrest, and tighten so that the Traveler hangs
from the seat back.
4. Take the bottom strap loop and pull it over the seat back and down, until it slips into the crevice
between the back and bottom cushions of the seat.
5. As an alternative, the two clips on this bottom strap may be used to secure the strap to metal
bracing underneath the seat bottom.
