Controlling Your PTZ Camera
Via Night Owl HD Application
Click on the PTZ icon to open the PTZ Controls:
Navigation Arrows:
Allows you to control your
PTZ camera in the direction of the arrow you
are selecting .
Zoom + :
Allows you to zoom in .
Zoom – :
Allows you to zoom out .
Focus In:
Allows you to focus in .
Focus Out:
Allows you to focus out .
Preset:
Allows you to configure the PTZ
camera’s preset settings .
PTZ Speed:
Allows you to adjust the speed
your PTZ camera moves .
Visual layout will differ when being accessed via a tablet
but the functionality will remain the same.
Troubleshooting
Keep in mind that Pan Tilt Zoom PTZ cameras require protocol configuration to
allow the control of the PTZ camera via the DVR and / or remotely from anywhere
in the world . Please ensure the settings below are the same as the settings within
your DVR in order to control your camera from your DVR and / or remotely via our
FREE Night Owl HD app .
Follow these simple steps in order to access the PTZ menu:
1 . Click on the Main Menu icon .
2 . You may be prompted to login by entering your username and password if you
have the password feature enabled .
