a. The SmartPlug will automatically begin with pairing via EZ MODE
(green light will blink rapidly). Open the Niceboy ION app, and then tap
“+” in the top right corner to enter “Add Device page“. Select “Electroin-
stallation”, then click on „SmartPlug Pro“. Choose your WIFI and enter
a password. In the top right corner choose EZ Mode. Confirm that the
light indicator is blinking rapidly. The app will start looking for a new
device. Once the device is found, just add it to the app.
b. There is also a second connection option using AP Mode. When the
power switch blinks rapidly, press the on/off button for approximately
4s. The SmartPlug will switch off. After it switches off, turn it back on.
The green light should now blink slowly. Open the Niceboy ION app,
and then tap “+” in the top right corner to enter “Add Device page“.
Select “Electroinstallation”, then click on „SmartPlug Pro“. Choose
your WIFI and enter a password. In the top right corner choose AP
Mode. Confirm that the light indicator is blinking slowly. Go to the
WIFI settings and Connect to the hotspot called „SmartLife-XXXX“ (the
XXXX is going to be a specific number of your product). Once you are
connected, go back to the app. The app will start looking for a new
device. Once the device is found, just add it to the app.
