3 - PROGRAMMING
HSDIM24 has 6 “
dip-switches”, and one jumper JP1,
which allow for the programming
of certain operating parameters, and 2 adjustment “trimmers” PT1 and PT2 (
fig. 2
): see
Tables 1
,
2
,
3
.
3.1 - Programming procedure and operation “Test”
01.
Program the infrared detector with 1 pulse per alarm:
dip-switch 3 = OFF
(
Table 1
).
02.
Program the “sensitivity” of the PIR infrared detector:
dip-switches 1-2
at the mini-
mum value necessary (
Table 1
).
03.
Set the “delay after intrusion” value to the minimum:
trimmer PT2
(
fig. 8
).
04.
Set the microwave detector sensitivity value (
trimmer PT1 - fig. 8
).
05.
Check the coverage of the protected area: make short movements inside the area and
check the signals emitted by LED
L1
(
fig. 2
). Adjust the sensitivity value if necessary.
06.
After adjusting the sensitivity, to reduce the risk of improper alarms, set
dip-switch 3
to ON
(2 pulses per alarm).
07.
For the same reason, set the “delay after intrusion” value to maximum
: trimmer PT2
(
fig. 2
), where compatible with the detection requirements.
08.
After the operation check, it is advisable to set
dip-switch 4 to ON
to turn off the
signalling of LED
L1
(
fig. 2
).
09.
Turn
dip-switch 5 ON
to activate the anti-blinding function.
Caution!
- The use of the Anti-blinding function excludes compliance with standard
EN50131.
10.
If an extremely hot environment requires it,
turn dip-switch 6 ON
to activate the auto-
matic temperature compensation.
11.
Close
jumper JP1
(
fig. 2
) to activate the double alarm function and acquire the sensor
in AND on itself.
