Electrical connections
Stove monitor
This connection can be used when lighting a stove in the
house, where FIGHTER 640P is installed. The risk of smok-
ing is reduced by the stove monitor sensing the pres-
sure differences between the chimney and the room.
Connecting a breaking contact in terminal (14) between
terminal ”4” and ”5” causes the compressor and fan to
stop.
Heat blocking (Room thermostat)
A room thermostat (or other contact) stops heat produc-
tion when the indoor temperature increases in connection
with solar radiation, heating by means of another heat
source or increased indoor activity. It is important that the
room thermostat is not affected by any other heat source,
for example, lamps, TV or other warm objects. Curtains
should not cover the thermostat. Install in a neutral posi-
tion where the set temperature is required. A suitable place
is on a free inner wall in a hall approx. 1.5 m above the
floor. However, the thermostat must not be prevented from
measuring the correct indoor temperature, for example,
by placing in a niche, between shelves, behind a curtain,
above or close to a heat source or the like. Also consider
any draughts from exterior doors.
The thermostat / contact is connected to terminal block
(14) between terminals ”4”, ”6” and provides stops the
circ.pump and the compressor and causes basic ventilation.
If there is a hot water demand, the compressor will start
and the fan will start to rotate.
Connecting the outdoor sensor
Install the outdoor sensor in the shade on a wall facing
north or north-west, so it is unaffected by the morning
sun. The sensor is connected with a two-wire cable to ter-
minal (14) positions “7” and “8”.
Terminal block (14) is behind a panel that must be tempo-
rarily removed to facilitate access.
If a conduit is used it must be sealed to prevent condensa-
tion in the sensor capsule.
