Streaming controls
While streaming, the buttons on the back of the hearing aids
can be used for volume control and a mute/unmute function:
While streaming from a device the hearing aids reduce the
volume of environmental sounds in order to avoid too much
sound in the ear.
This means that while your child is streaming they cannot hear
other’s speaking clearly and may miss sounds around them like
traffic noise. It is therefore important to teach your child when
it is a safe and appropriate time to stream.
It is strongly recommended that children avoid streaming audio
and media when in the classroom. If volume control is necessary
in the classroom, children are able to do this without the use of
Bluetooth.
Phone calls
During phone calls the hearing aids will play all sounds
directly for greater sound quality. The hearing aids also act
as a microphone to receive the wearers own voice - therefore
speaking into the phone is not necessary.
