WARNINGS  -

  Safe usage instructions

1.

Study, understand and follow all instructions before

   operating this jack.

2.

  Do not exceed rated capacity.

3.

Only use the drum trolley for lifting and transporting

standing 200 l drums on hard level surface.

4.

Only transport the drum in lowered position.

5.

Make sure that the drum cannot drop or swing

during transport.

6.

Do not place feet or any other part of the body

under a lifted drum.

7.

Never employ the drum trolley in potentially explo

   sive atmospheres.

8.

Only original accessories and spare parts shall be

used.

9.

No alterations shall be made to this jack.

10.

Failure to follow these warnings may result in per

   -sonal injury and/or property damage.

Assembly:

For safety reasons we recommend to have assistance

for the assembly. First mount cross beam (3) and

wheel brackets (4) on top of legs (2) with matching

screws and washers. Then fix tower (6) and bracket (8,

13)

Lifting:

Push the trolley fully against the drum with the

upper arm of the gripping device above the drum. Ac-

tivate the pedal using full strokes. The gripping device

will automatically grip and hold the drum.

Transport:

At first lower the drum to lowest position.

Lowering:

Slowly turn the release handle (15)

counter clockwise.

Operational temperature - 10° to + 40° C.

Maintenance:

Maintenance and repair must always be carried out by

qualified personnel.

Cleaning:

We advice not to use high pressure cleaner,

steam jets or degreasing agents in order to avoid de-

greasing and penetrating water. If not mechanical parts

must be lubricated afterwards.

Daily:

Inspect the drum trolley for damages.

Monthly:

Lubricate the axle for pedal and other me-

chanical parts with a few drops of oil. Grease the end

of the pump piston.

Oil refill:

Correct oil level is up to lower edge of filling

hole with the lever arm fully down. Too much oil causes

poor pumping.

Quantity of oil: 1,2 l.

Any good hydraulic oil of viscosity ISO VG 15 can be

used.

NEVER USE BRAKE FLUID!

Safety Inspection:

According to national legislation – minimum once a

year though – the drum trolley must be inspected by a

professional: functioning of the gripping device, da-

mages, wear and tear, adjustment of the safety valve,

hydraulic unit for leakages. Furthermore that all safety

labels are legible.

Trouble shooting

1.

The drum trolley does not lift to maximum height:

verify oil level (see “Maintenance”).

2.

Poor pumping (half strokes): there is vacuum in

the reservoir due to too much oil. Verify oil level.

3.

Air in the hydraulic system: bleed the system by

pumping the pedal 5 – 10 times with open release

handle.

4.

The load is dropping: verify that the release is

closed and that the release spring is properly adju-

sted.

Spare parts:

Replace worn or broken parts with genuine manufac-

turer supplied parts only. All major parts may not be

provided after discontinuation of a model.

Destruction:

Oil must be drained off and legally disposed of.
