malfunzionamento del sistema o di assenza di manutenzione.

GARANZIA
Questa pompa è garantita in perfetto stato di funzionamento alla consegna.
Il modello X-PUMP è garantito per 1 anno (12 mesi) a decorrere dalla data di fatturazione di
ARBO SPA contro qualsiasi difetto di funzionamento. Tutti i prodotti restituiti saranno
oggetto di un’analisi completa sull’origine e il funzionamento in relazione con il rispettivo
codice di tracciabilità e con le performance tecniche constatate. In caso di assenza di guasto
legato ad uno scorretto utilizzo della pompa e al rispetto delle prescrizioni d’installazione, il
prodotto verrà sostituito o riparato.
LA GARANZIA NON SARÀ VALIDA NEI SEGUENTI CASI:
- Apertura del corpo pompa
- Collegamento ad una tensione diversa da quella indicata
- Taglio del cavo del serbatoio
- Uso della pompa a secco (senza alimentazione liquida)

INSTALLATION

RECOMMENDATIONS
This device is not intended for use by anyone (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or without prior experience or knowledge, unless they have
had access through a person responsible for their safety to supervision or prior instructions
regarding use of the device.
This device may be used by children aged 8 years and up, and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or without prior experience or knowledge if they are
properly supervised or if they have been given instructions regarding safe use of the device
and if the risks involved have been understood. Children should not be allowed to play with
the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the user should not be carried out by children
without supervision.

PUMP MODULE
The power supply must come from a different network than the air conditioner supply.
Disconnect the power supply before installation
The power cable must be connected by a qualified professional complying with the standards
in force in the country.
Use only the cable 2 drivers supplied with a protection 10 A on the line.
An all-pole mains disconnect switch with a contact separation ensuring a complete cut-off,
as per Overvoltage Category III, must be provided in fixed installations in accordance with
the installation instructions.
In case of doubt and for any interventions concerning electrical connection, it is preferable
to call a qualified professional.
ARBO SPA would not be held responsible for possible damages caused by a improper
installation If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, its
after-sales service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any danger.
Installation of the pump module.
The pump module may be installed in the air conditioner, in a chute (see diagram,
opposite) or in the false ceiling. A space must be left around the pump module for it to
cool in the event of prolonged operation. The pump module should not be covered (no
insulation, no expanding foam, etc.). The discharge tube must be 6 x 9 mm in diameter.
Use the hose clamp (supplied) to securely fasten the discharge hose to the pump.

DETECTION MODULE
The flexible elbow (supplied) allows connection of the detection module to the air
conditioner tray. Suction is via the 1.50-meter flexible hose having a diameter of 6 x 9 mm
(not supplied). Use the two hose clamps (provided) to securely fasten the flexible hose to
the detection and pump modules
Installation of the detection module
.
For the X-PUMP®, the detection module must be installed and fastened in a horizontal
position with the velcro adhesive support (supplied).
The outlet discharge tube of the pump module must always be higher than the detection
module. In other case, it is necessary to connect the outlet discharge tube to another tube
of a higher diameter in order to prevent siphoning. Detailed information is available from
your nearest wholesaler.

OPERATION
Check that the maximum water level in the condensate tray is higher than the cover level in
the detection unit, to prevent the condensate tray overflowing before the alarm activates.
Before finishing the installation, it is requested to test the correct operation of the condensate
removal pump.

Never try to run the pump “dry” without
water (pump destructive)
•
Rinse thoroughly the condensate water tray in order to eliminate all metallic particles
and foreign bodies before connecting the detection unit.

Position the detection unit in order to collect the condensate from the air conditioner
•
Pour water into the condensate tray of the air conditioner without overfilling
•
Check the pump starts, pumps water, then stops
