8 CL EANIN G THE PLAY ER
No rmally clean the pl ayer w ith a soft, dry cloth. For to ugh di rt, app ly som e neutral
detergent diluted in 5 to 6 pa rts wa ter to a soft c loth, w ring out thor oughly.
W ipe off the dirt, then wipe off the player with a dry clo th. No te that alcoh ol,
thinner, benzen e, insecticid es, etc ., may cause the p rint or coatin g to pe el off.
Al so avo id leav ing rub ber or plasti c prod ucts in conta ct with the player fo r long
periods of time , as this may damag e the cabine t. Whe n usin g chem ically treate d
cloths, re ad the cloth's instructions carefully. Always unplug the power co rd from
the pow er out let before cleaning the pla yer.
