1.DO NOT MOVE THE PLAYER DURING PLAYBACK
During playb ack, t he disc spins at high spee d. So do not lift or move the player.
Doing so ma y damage th e disc.
2.TRANSPORTING THE PLAYER
Bef ore tra nspor ting th e play er, be sure to remove the disc and turn off th e
pow er, then unp lug the powe r cord .
3.PLACE OF INSTALLATION
S elect a stable place near the TV or ste reo sys tem to which you a re goi ng to
connect the pl ayer.
D o not p lace t he player on top of a TV o r color monitor.
In stall the play er aw ay from cass ette de cks or other device s whic h are easily
a ffected by ma gnetic force s.
4.DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS ON TOP OF THE PLAYER
Do not exp ose this apparatus to rain, mois ture, dripping or splashin g and no
objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on th e app aratus.
5.TURN OFF THE POWER WHEN NOT USING THE PLAYER
If th e player is co nnect ed to y our TV but not in us e, swi tch the powe r off. It can
avoid inter ferenc e to your normal TV pictu re.
Nois e prob lems may al so be experi enced if used near a radio .
6.SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING USE OF PLAYER IN VEHICLES
We s trongl y advis e aga inst us ing the playe r while drivin g.
Most count ries an d stat es hav e laws which prohi bit or s everely restrict the
use o f the p layer in vehicles w hile dr iving.
Do n ot leav e the p layer or the batter y pack in plac es wh ere the temp erature
is ex tremel y low (about-10 c o r lowe r) or ex treme ly high (abou t 60 c or
higher), su ch as inside the pa sseng er cab in or trunk in midsu mmer. Doin g
so may wa rp the outer case o r reduc e the performance or qu ality o f the
batte ry pac k.
