NSA 7150/7150A User Manual

Chapter 3: System Setup

Installing Memory Modules

1. Locate the DIMM sockets on the motherboard and release the locks.

2. Insert the module into the socket at an 90 degree angle. Apply

firm even pressure to each end of the module until it slips into the
socket. While pushing the module into position, the locks will close
automatically.

Note: For information on the memory population rule, please
refer to pages 48 and 49.

CAUTION!

Before installing or removing internal components on
the mainboard, please ensure that the AC power cord is
unplugged for at least over 10 seconds.
