SATA Controller
Enables or disables the SATA controller.
Configure SATA as
Configures the SATA as IDE or AHCI.
IDE
This option configures the Serial ATA drives as Parallel ATA
physical storage device.
AHCI This option configures the Serial ATA drives to use AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). AHCI allows the storage
driver to enable the advanced Serial ATA features which will
increase storage performance.
Port 0 to Port 3
Enables or disables Serial ATA port 0 to port 3.
Hot Plug
Enables or disables hot plugging feature on Serial ATA port 0 to port 3.
SATA Device Type
Identifies what type of SATA device is connected on port 0 to port 3.
