Adjusting the Image Settings

You can adjust the image settings (intensity range, color, coordinates,
and highlights) for the current image only or globally for all
subsequently opened files.

The image setting adjustments are described in the following sections:

•

Making Adjustments to the Current Image Only (see below)

Making Global Adjustments to Subsequently Opened Images (see
page 85)

Setting the Intensity Range (see page 86)

Selecting Color Settings (see page 86)

Specifying Highlight Colors (see page 88)

MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CURRENT IMAGE ONLY

To adjust the settings for the current image only, do one of the
following:

• Click the

Image settings

button

.

• Select

Edit

Image Settings

from the menu bar.

• Right-click in the image and click

Image Settings...

in the

shortcut menu.

This displays the

Image Settings

dialog box for the active file

.

All settings (except the color setting) in the Image Settings dialog
box apply only to the current file and do not affect other images.
The settings (except for the color settings) are not saved when the
image is closed.
