Calculate the call zone scores, also known as the Distance to Radius
ratio (DTR), for each allele type of the SNP using the model, and
evaluate the call zone score to make an allele call for the SNP

EVALUATING CELL INTENSITY DATA USING THE DISCRIMINATION FILTER

The discrimination filter is used to compare specific and non-specific
hybridization by comparing the intensities for the mismatch cells to
the intensities for the perfect match cells. The discrimination filter
uses the following:

1.

First, discrimination scores for the SNP’s probe pairs are calculated
using the intensity values for the probe cells (see below).

2.

Second, the discrimination scores are evaluated to determine
whether the data meets the quality requirements (see

A discrimination score is calculated for each probe pair in the probe set
using the following equation:
