Interface Settings
Configuration of WAN interface

The IP settings must be preset by the customer

It must also be ensured that the PAM.E4 always has access to the Internet.
Ethernet
IP address
Unique addressing of the gateway (default setting: 192.168.6.2)
Network mask
Definition of the network (default setting: 255.255.255.0)
Broadcast
Broadcast (default setting: 192.168.6.255)
Gateway
Interface to the next node
DHCP is currently not available.
Configuration of mobile interface

Configure the SIM settings as per the specifications (APN and SMS Center)

Insert the SIM card and monitor the status and signal strength

Status
Status of the SIM card – in the example above:
No SIM Card
APN
Access Point Name – device access point to the Internet
Card SMS Center
SMS management on the SIM card
Phone number
Telephone number of the SIM card (if available)
If Newlift SIM cards are used, extended service options for commissioning are available to our employees.
(Example: direct access to the PAM.E4).
