TO LCAD A TAPE

CAUTION: Remove any expansion from your
Commodore

on the computer and try to load the program.
3.
Turn on
the power svltch, “READY" should
appear on the screen.
4.
Place the tape cassette in the player with
the label up and press the REWIND key
on
the
cassette unit.
When the tape is
rewound press
the stop key.

On the keyboard type "LOAD" and
press
RETURN.

Your screen will say 'PRESS PLAY ON TAPE' -
press PLAY on the cassette unit, the computer's
screen will go blank for about
1 0
seconds.
7.
When the computer finds the program the
screen will come back on.
It will say 'FOUND'...
(name of program).
Press the COMMODORE key
(lower left key on the keyboard).
The screen
wll
go blank again for 1 to 5 minutes (depending on
the length
of the program being
loaded).

When the program is finished loading the
computer's screen will display 'READY' with a
blinking curser.
Press the STOP button on the
cassette unit.

Type
" R U N "
on the keyboard and press RETURN.
10.
If the program fails to load then TURN THE
COMPUTER OFF and go back to step 2.
11.
If the program still fails to load check
to be sure that all cables are secure and the
read/write head on the cassette unit la not
dirty or out of alignment.
Refer to
your owner's
manual.
12.
Always turn the computer off momentarily
before attempting to load any other program.
