Engine - Engine and crankcase

Fuel filters

Engine is provided with two spin on type fuel filters. Primary and secondary, located below fuel injection pump. Fuel
first passes primary filter and then through the secondary filter before entering injection pump.

Primary filter is provided to separate the larger dirt particles whereas secondary is provided to separate the particles,
which passed through the primary filter to the secondary filter.

Fuel filters are provided with drain plug to drain out water.

Feed pump

Fuel feed pump draws fuel from the fuel tank via strainer and forces the fuel through primary and secondary fuel filters
to fuel injection pump.
