Disassembling the Device 

1.

 

Place the device or the downpipe on a cushioned surface. 

2.

 

Unfasten the nut (3) with an open-ended wrench or adjustable pliers wrench (SW 19 mm) and 
unscrew it from the axle (1). 

3.

 

Remove the cleaning head (2) from the shaft (1).

Assembling the Device 

1.

 

NOTE

 

Incorrect assembly. 

Function and cleaning effectiveness of the device are impaired.  

 

Observe the direction arrow on the cage (2).  

 

Slide the cage (2) with the semicircular outlet opening (Smiley) upwards onto the axle (1); the 
thread of the axle (1) faces downwards. 

2.

 

Slide the O-ring (4) onto the nut (3). 
The O-ring (4) must be positioned correctly in the O-ring groove of the nut (3). 

3.

 

Screw the nut (3) with the O-ring (4) on the axle (1) 

4.

 

NOTE

 

Observe the prescribed tightening torque. 

 

Tighten the nut (3) with tightening torque 20 – 25 Nm (14.7 – 18.4 lbft).
