WDS

:If you are using this router to spread the wireless coverage of another router,or to

spread the coverage to another router,you can use WDS mode.



You can configure the routerfollowing the steps in 4.5.4.

AP+WDS

:You can bridge two LAN or two computers via two AP, the wireless signal

will be amplified and transmitted at the same time.



You can configure the router following the steps in 4.5.4.

Client

: In this mode

，

the router function is approximately equal to a wireless adapter

，

you

can make a wireless connection to the internet.



Attach one end of an Ethernet cable to your computer’s port,and the other end to one of the

LAN ports of your router.



Configure Your Computer



Select “wireless”-“wireless settings”, select the client mode, click on “AP scan” and you

will see a new window options, select the AP you want to connect to, and click the

“connect” button below.



If your AP is notencrypted, click “save” and reboot the router.



If your AP is encrypted, select “wireless security” and input the key in this interface, then

click on “save” and reboot the router.

Repeater

: In this mode, it’s an electronic device that amplifies a signal before

transmitting it again; it can be used in computer networks to extend transmitting distances.



Attach one end of an Ethernet cable to your computer’s port,and the other end to one of the

LAN ports of your router.



Configure Your Computer according to the QIG



Select “wireless”-“wireless settings”, select the repeater mode, input the Repeater

SSID,then click the “AP Scan”and you will see a new window options, select the AP you

want to connect to, and click the “connect” button below.
