Rear Panel

The connections and button on the rear panel are shown in the following figure.

Viewed from left to right, the back panel contains the following components:

•

USB port

. Use the USB port to connect a USB storage device to the cable modem

router.

•

Ethernet ports 1–4

. Four Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 LAN ports to connect the cable

modem router to LAN devices.

•

Reset button

. Pressing the

Reset

button resets the cable modem router. If the

Reset

button is pressed for at least seven seconds and the Power LED blinks green, the
cable modem router returns to its factory settings.

•

Coaxial cable connector

. Use a coaxial cable to connect the coaxial cable connector

to a cable wall outlet.
