User Guide

Setting Up IP Address

IP address related parameters used in Net2Phone MAX are IP address of Net2Phone MAX,

subnet mask of Net2Phone MAX, and IP address of default gateway. Prepare these values

before starting configuration.

Make a console connection from your computer to Net2Phone MAX (refer to section 2.1)

After login to Net2Phone MAX, change directory to “/config/ip” (just type “/config/ip” at

prompt)

③

Change IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway settings using “change” command.

(type “change”, then interactive menu will appear)

Reset Net2Phone MAX to reflect changes to the Net2Phone MAX. This is done by issuing

“/system/reset” command or just power-off and after 10 seconds later, power-on.

⑤

Using “ping” command from another computer, confirm the correct IP related parameters

are configured to Net2Phone MAX.
