Weatherizing the Cable Connections

Complete the following instructions to weatherproof the cables with
the black tape.

1. Using the weatherizing kit, start the tape at the top of the GPRS

antenna connection as illustrated in Figure 22.

2. Wrap the tape around the connection several times; slowly work

your way downward to weatherize you connection at the base.

connection at the base of the R450 DC, as illustrated in Figure
23.
