Replacing Prefilters
Procedure
1. Shut unit down.
2. Close inlet supply valve.
3. Turn the blue pressure housings counterclockwise (Available - filter wrench
AMI Model No. H-C9205 .)
Filter cartridge should come free from the housing top and remain in the housing.
4. Remove and replace cartridges.
5. Before replacing housing, ensure that o-ring seal is lubed and placed in groove of housing (
AMI Model
No. for lubricant: H-C111DC ). Inspect seal and replace as needed.
6. Rotate housing clockwise until hand tight.

1. Sediment Filter – Removes sediments and particles down to 5-micron size.
2. Carbon Filter – Primarily to remove chlorine; also removes organics as well as sediments down to 10-micron size.
