Getting baby in front and hip carries
- knotting suitable to babies younger than 4 months old ( see page 8 ) -
The rings are on top
of your shoulder (they
will come down after
loading baby and
tightening, when
it’s done they must
be right under your
collarbone).
Put baby
high up on
your shoulder
and grab
his feet from
underneath
the fabric.
Let baby
slide into
a sitting
position
with
the fabric
gathered
behind his
knees.
Pull the
upper rail
up to his
ears.
Tighten
the Bulline
strand by
strand.

To loosen the carrier, hold
baby, lift the visible ring and
pull it upward to get some
slack. Baby can then be
taken out from above or
from underneath.
Baby’s final position depends on how he is positioned when
you get him in the carrier, it is difficult to reposition him once
the carrier is adjusted.
Choose the position that is right for you :
On the front
On the hip, baby can be carried arms
out if he has good head control.
Loosen the Bulline, lift baby slightly and move his bum to get
him into a reclined position.
The Bulline’ s loose tail can be used for discreet nursing. Baby
must be placed back into a vertical position after nursing.
