6.8 Switching on the AirFresh function

The AirFresh function switches on the ventilation sys-
tem for approx. five minutes per hour at fan setting 1.

6.9 Switching on the NoiseReduction
function

The noise reduction function reduces the fan noise.
The function is possible in all fan settings, except in fan
setting  .

The NoiseReduction function remains active even
after the appliance is switched off.

6.10 Sensor control

In automatic mode, a sensor in the appliance detects
the intensity of the cooking and roasting fumes. De-
pending on the setting of the sensor sensitivity, the op-
timum fan setting is automatically switched on. If the
sensor control system reacts too weakly or too
strongly, the setting for the sensor sensitivity may
change.

Requirement:

 The appliance is switched on.

The lighting can be switched on and off independently
of the ventilation system.

Colour temperature settings are available in the

Home Connect app provided the appliance has this
function.

Requirement:

 The appliance is switched off.

6.17 Setting the intermediate position for
the filter cover

On some appliances, the filter cover can be adjusted to
an intermediate position. The intermediate position can
be used to eliminate particularly strong cooking smells
and large amounts of steam.

Take hold of the filter cover in the centre and open it
carefully.

6.18 Resetting the saturation indicator

After cleaning the grease filter or after changing the
odour filter, the saturation indicator can be reset.
