7.1.2.
Cannot Log in to Web Setting
Confirm that the IP address of the PC is 169.254.xxx.xxx/16.
*There is no DHCP server function in bridge mode of this product. Manually set the IP address on PC.
*After completing the setting, restore the setting of the IP address of the PC. If the PC IP address is
169.254.xxx.xxx/16, the internet will not be accessible.
Make sure the PC web browser proxy settings are disabled.
Make sure that the LAN port of this product and the PC are securely connected with an Ethernet cable.
*Check the LAN port lamp of this product is lit green.
The user name of this product is "admin" (excluding double quotes).
If the Web setting with HTTPS cannot be accessed by using the simple RADIUS function, check whether the root
certificate has been imported to the PC.
*The HTTPS server certificate is signed with the product root certificate, and the root certificate is regenerated in
device initialization.
If importing an old root certificate to a PC, the Web setting is not accessible after initializing the device using
HTTPS. Import again the newly generated root certificate.
7.1.3.
Forgot Login Password of Web Setting
Please initialize this product.
*This product cannot return the login password to the initial state.

Please initialize using the reset switch of this product.
For the details, refer to Section 5.10.1.

After initializing and restarting the product, no activation operation is required.
7.1.4.
Cannot Activate
If the ALERT2 lamp does not turn off after 1 minute or more has elapsed since the OPT 1 switch has been released
(security/scan function switch), the activation has not been successful. If the ALERT 2 lamp does not go out even after
the activation operation, perform/confirm the following.
Confirm that this product is ready for Internet communication.
Make sure the following is displayed on the Web setting [TOP]-[Maintenance]-[Information]-[Device Status]
screen

"IPv4 Connectivity Status" is displayed as "Internet Connected"
・
IPv4 address is displayed in "IPv4 Address/Netmask", "IPv4 Gateway", "IPv4 Primary DNS"
If the above display contents are satisfied, make sure that the network to which this product is connected can
communicate with the Internet by using another device.
Hold the OPT 1 switch (security/scan function switch) for about 4 seconds until the ALERT 2 lamp lights green.
Check the status of the license agreement.
