The system’s modem board attaches to the back of the CPU board.
Now to remove the modem board, turn over the CPU board. Do not touch any of
the chips or circuitry on the board.
6.
Lift the modem board out of connectors P1 and P2
Heat Shield, Sound Board, Microphone Assembly
Remove the heat shield, sound board, and/or the microphone assembly as follows.

Remove the following as previously described:

LCD
■
top cover
■
keyboard
■
LCD status bar
■
VersaGlide
■
metal keyboard support
■
bridge battery, CMOS battery, buzzer (speaker), and CPU board
