Region exiting detection function detects people, vehicle or other objects that exit
from a predefined virtual region. When the alarm is triggered, certain actions can be
taken.

Loitering detection function detects people, vehicles or other objects that loiter in a
predefined virtual region for some certain time. When the alarm is triggered, a series
of actions can be taken.

Refer to

Section 5 Intrusion Detection on page 9-5

for operating steps to configure

the loitering detection.

The

Threshold

[1s-10s] in the Rule settings define the time of the object loitering in

the region. If you set the value as 5, the alarm is triggered after the object loiters in
the region for 5s. If you set the value as 0, the alarm is triggered immediately after
the object entering the region.
