Other functions
(1) Clear
Configuration
Clears the configuration data. From the TOP menu, select
Configure
and then
Clear Configuration
. When
Clear Configuration
is executed, all the configuration data on the RAID Controller and Hard Disk Drives is
cleared.
Note
•
If the configuration data on the RAID Controller is selected while it does not
match that of a Hard Disk Drive (excluding a case when the faulty RAID
Controller is replaced), configuration does not execute normally. In this case,
execute Clear Configuration and then create a configuration again.
•
To delete the configuration data of a Virtual Drive, select
Objects
and then
Virtual Drive
from the TOP menu. Next, move the cursor to the Virtual Drive to
be deleted, and then press the <Delete> key. When the confirmation message
"Want To Delete A VD?" appears, select
Yes
.
(2) Force
Online
Forcibly places a failed Hard Disk Drive online.
From the TOP menu, select
Objects
and then
Physical Drive
. Next, select the drive to be placed online, and
then select
Force Online
.
(3) Rebuild
Rate
Specifies the rebuilding rate.
From the TOP menu, select
Objects
,
Adapter
, and then
Rebuild Rate
.
The setting range is 0 to 100%. The default value is 30% (recommended).
(4) Viewing Hard Disk Drive information
Displays information about a Hard Disk Drive.
From the TOP menu, select
Objects
and then
Physical Drive
. Next, select the drive whose information you
want to view, and then select
Drive Properties
.
