Power Consumption
Comparison between Normal and Eco Mode operation – with and without
activation of the uSB and/or audio function.
Quality Capacitors
Capacitors are one of the most important components in any electronic
equipment, with display products being no exception. Failures of displays, PCs
or other peripheral devices can often be traced back to defective capacitors,
which can often fail during continuous operation or due to high operating
temperatures. NEC display Solutions therefore only fits quality capacitors into
its displays products that have been exclusively manufactured in Japan. With
great durability and a long life-span, as well as the use of environmentally-friendly
materials, the capacitors demonstrate NEC’s commitment to the highest of
quality for its complete portfolio of displays products.

user-Friendliness
On Screen display
All the monitor settings can be controlled using the coloured On Screen display
(OSd). The OSd of the MultiSync
®
EA series is particularly user-friendly and
intuitive, and can be activated using the elegantly designed OSd control buttons
(MENu, left, right, up, down) that have been stylishly integrated into the bezel
of the display. in order to prevent inadvertent or unauthorised changing of the
monitor settings, the On Screen display can also be locked.

Administrator
The EA series displays are compatible with NaviSet
®
and NaviSet
®
Adminstrator.
This means that the OSd monitor settings can be intuitively managed over an
extended user-surface using a mouse and keyboard – as Administrator this can
be performed simultaneously over several monitors.
Multimedia Loudspeaker
High-quality 2 x 1 Watt loudspeakers have been integrated into the underside
of the display’s bezel for multimedia applications. This avoids any loss of space
due to additional, external loudspeakers. However, should the audio function
not be required or desired at the work place, the loudspeakers can be simply
deactivated using the On Screen display.
Headphone Jack
As a silent audio alternative, a socket for headphones is also to be found in the
underside of the display’s bezel. This is the perfect solution, for example, for
e-learning concepts in the education sector – without disturbing the surroun-
ding vicinity.
