Upgrading Your Server  9-11

 

3. 

Install the hard disk drive in the drive carrier, and secure it with screws provided with the
server.

NOTE:

 Use the screws for securing hard disk drive provided with the

server. Keep one screw as a spare.

 

4. 

Insert the drive carrier into the server chassis straight, and secure it with two screws.

 

5. 

Power on the server, and run SETUP utility.

Select [Boot] menu to set the boot priority. When you have installed hard disk drive
additionally, the boot priority stored in BIOS is cleared. See Chapter 4 for details.
