Mixed configuration of SATA HDD and SAS HDD

Mixed configuration of SATA HDD and SAS HDD is not supported.

Express5800/GT110b

Supplementary Notes <HDD(2)>

Mixed configuration of 2.5inch internal HDD and SSD

Example:

Install SAS HDD in Slots 0~1,

SATA SSD in Slots 2~3

Mixed configuration of HDD(SATA/SAS) and SSD

For mixed configuration of SAS HDD and SATA SSD, RAID controller is required.

Mixed configuration within same RAID group (pack) is not supported.

Mixed configuration of SAS HDDs of different rotation speed is not supported.

Install HDD (SAS/SATA) in sequence from Slot #0. Remaining slots can be used for installing SSD.
