3. Memory in the Server: Priority/Order of Installation
Basic Rule:
When mixing different capacity of memory, will install larger capacity memory first.
In a Memory Riser Card, memory installed according to the rule shown in the previous section.
3-1.
A2040d
(1) Standard Model
Memory will be installed equally among each Memory Riser Card.
(2) COPT Supported Model: Standard BTO Configuration (Centralized Mode)
Memory will be installed to the first younger 2 Memory Riser Cards. Follows the same rule afterwards,
(3) COPT Supported Model: With
“Customized Service: Distribution Mode for COPT (NE3300-SV101)”
is ordered (Decentralized Mode)
Memory will be installed equally among each Memory Riser Card.

A2020d
Memory will be installed equally to Memory Riser Card #1 to #4, then move to Memory Riser Card #5 to #8.
3-3. A2010d
Memory will be installed equally to Memory Riser Card #1 to #2, then move to Memory Riser Card #3 to #4.

A1040d
Memory will be installed equally among each Memory Riser Card.
