Installation Procedures
To upgrade an existing 7350 SelfServ Checkout Narrow Core unit to 7350 R6 Lite Narrow
Core, do the following :
1. Remove 7350 Narrow Core components. For more information, refer to the following
procedures:
a. Removing the Touch Display on the facing page.
b. Removing the Tri-Light /Lane Light Assembly and Pole on page 8.
c. Removing the Supervisor Switch on page 12.
d. Removing the E-Box on page 14.
e. Removing the E-Box Bracket on page 15.
f. Removing and Sorting Cables on page 17.
2. Install R6 Lite Narrow Core components. For more information, refer to the
following procedures:
Note: To upgrade the tower frame and the scanner/scale, refer to the 7350-K979
Upgrade, Narrow Core 7879e Kit Instructions.
a. Installing the 7360 Tri–Light/Lane Light Assembly (Optional) on page 19.
b. Installing the Supervisor Switch on page 24.
c. Installing the Display Mounting Bracket on page 26.
d. Installing the NCR 7702 Terminal Display on page 27.
Note: To purchase an NCR 7702 Terminal Display, contact an NCR Customer
Representative.
e. Installing the System Power Supply on Bracket on page 30
f. Installing the I/O Box on Bracket on page 33
g. Installing the I/O Box and Power Supply Bracket on page 34.

3. Attach the labels by doing of the following:
• Installing 7350 R6 Lite Product Identification (PID) Upgrade Label on page 39.
• Attach the cable labels on both ends of the cables.
