Using
Setting up Distance between your Eyes
The distance between the eyes
varies from person to person. For
an individual adaption turn the
two sides of the binoculars
around their axes until a single
spherical image is obtained and
no disturbing shadows can be
seen at the edges (Fig. 1). Always set up the binoculars to
this position prior to using it.
Setting up Focus
By turning the focusing
wheel (3) you can
adjust the binoculars
to a sharp image of
any object at distance
from approx. 5 m to
infinity.
Dioptre Setting
To obtain a perfect
image quality the different eye-sight of the left eye and the
right eye probably has to be balanced. Look through the
binoculars and turn the right ocular ring (1) and the focus-
ing wheel (3) until a sharp image is provided for both eyes.
