GLONASS Satellite Message

Satellite message is transmitted as numerical data flow encoded in Hemming code and converted
into relational code. Structurally the data flow is formed as continuously repeated super frames. The
super frame consists of 5 frames. The frame consists of 15 data lines.
The duration of a super frame is 2.5 min. The duration of a frame is 30 sec. The duration of data
line is 2 sec. Within every super frame the full capacity of no operational information (almanac) is
transmitted for all 24 GLONASS satellites. The GLONASS almanac is repeated every 2.5 minutes.
