PREPARING YOUR POCKET LOOX
FOR USE
1. Charge your battery:
– Remove battery cover
– Insert battery
– Replace battery cover
– Connect Pocket LOOX to AC adapter
and plug in.
Allow to charge for 6 hours
, or overnight.
2. Turn your Pocket LOOX on by pressing the
suspend/resume
button.
3.
Secure a satellite signal
: go outside, away from tall buildings
and trees. A clear line of sight is important.
4. From main menu, tap the Navigator icon.
5. An icon will appear when you have a GPS signal.

* Note that it may take up to 10 minutes or more the first time you attempt to secure a GPS position.
This is normal for any GPS device, as it must communicate with at least four satellites.
USING YOUR POCKET LOOX
FOR THE FIRST TIME
1. Choose your map when prompted.
2. Tap “
Start NAVIGON MN Premium
”.
3. Enter your destination:
– Tap “
New Destination
”,
“
Enter an Address
”, “
City First
”
– Select Your Country or State
– Type city, street name,
and street number
4. Tap “
Start Navigation
” icon.
5.
Follow your route
:
– The indicates your position
– Your route is highlighted in orange
– Pocket LOOX will guide you
on screen and by voice
TAKING YOUR SYSTEM
FOR A DRIVE
1. Slip your system into the
car cradle
.
2. Attach your car cradle to the
suction cup mount
.
3. Adhere the suction cup mount to your windshield so that it
does not obstruct your view.*
4. Secure your system by pressing the suction cup lever.
CHANGING YOUR SCREEN
ORIENTATION
1. Quit navigation application.
2. From main menu, tap “
Settings
”.
3. Tap “
Display
”.
4. Tap the “
Screen
” tab (portrait or landscape).
5. To save, tap the back button.
OTHER FEATURES AND TIPS
1. Pocket LOOX is unique in that it offers you two ways to enter your
destination—by
street name
as well as by
city name
. To enter a
“street first” destination, start by selecting your state and then enter
the street name you're looking for.
2. Pocket LOOX lets you search for a specific
point of interest
. Simply
select the Point of Interest option and select the type or name of the
POI you're looking for.
