Starting the Device

Turning the Device Off

After the device has been turned off, the splash screen re-displays when the device is
turned back on.

1. Press and hold the

(

On/Standby/Off

) button on the top of the device for

eight (8) seconds, then release.

Note:

When your device is not in use for an extended period, use this procedure to

turn off your device and conserve battery power.
