LOCATION & REMOVAL
INSTALLATION
Installation is made at the factory TV Tuner,
Locate TV Tuner box in rear of vehicle:
E39 5 Series
E38 7 Series
E46 3 Series Convertible
E46 3 Series Saloon/Coupe
E83 X3
E53 X5
To select your added A/V input you will need to select
Television, then from the program list (in the blue
banner) select the a/v channel bellow channel 1.
The camera input will appear over any source on the
screen when the reverse gear is selected. (provided the
installation is made as directed)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the white Plug from the white Socket located
on the TV Tuner box,
2. Insert the NAV TV A/V input-output loom into the white
Socket on the TV Tuner,
3. Insert the BMW white Plug into the NAV TV A/V input-
output loom,
4. Connect audio and video connections as required;
(Audio / video inputs and outputs are labelled)
5.Connect your camera output to the socket labelled
CAMERA IN
To activate the camera input you will need to supply a
NEGATIVE feed to PIN 17 on the BLUE plug of the TV
Tuner, see diagrams;
