Checking GPS status

Check the GPS status as follows:

2. Check that the

Status

line displays

TIME SYNC

, which indicates the Exporter Plus is

locked to the GPS system. It may take up to 15 minutes after power up to reach this

state.

3. Check that the number of satellites (

Sats

) is greater than 4.

4. Check that the

HDOP

value is 4 or less.

5. Refer to

Section 10, “Troubleshooting” on page 10-1

if there is a problem.
