Room Thermostat and Remote Control Module
Introduction
The Additional “Control module” NRC-6 with software version SV is intended to
work with the NPBC-V3C-1 controller, which is composed of a NPBC-V3M ”Executive
module” and a NRC-6-MV main “Control Module.” If the assembly is executed on NPBC-
V3M , it is connected in parallel to the main control module to its second connector (type RJ
11) or by a coupler into the RJ 11 connector. The additional control module displays the most
important information about the burner’s state and its operations: operation stage, errors
registered, the parameters measured by the sensors, and the current state of the timers.
Additionally, the NRC-6 SV module works as a room thermostat and measures the ambient
temperature with a temperature sensor, which is connected to the box (connected with a wire).
The screen’s graph is designed a little simpler and it has a dedicated new blue field where the
ambient temperature is shown. The additional control module has limited control function
compared with NPBC-V3C-1/2 controller. The following options are available: switching on,
off or to timer mode, fuel type selection, adjustable settings for the burner timers, and clock
adjustment. The additional controller module has several settings regarding its function as a
room thermostat: setting and maintaining a desired room temperature, as well as the option for
timer settings, which gives the opportunity to set different temperatures during the day.
The rest operation parameters cannot be set from NRC-6. The temperature adjustment
function refers to the ambient temperature, not to the boiler temperature.
