Settings Window

Settings
window is shown in

6.3.1
Output Voltage
The positive and negative output voltages are adjustable in the following ways:
•
Drag the voltage sliders
•
Click on the up- and down-arrows of the voltage entry boxes
•
Enter a voltage in the voltage entry boxes
•
Click on the up- and down-arrows of the hexadecimal entry boxes
•
Enter a hexadecimal number in the hexadecimal entry boxes
NOTE:
If an incorrect value is entered into the voltage or hexadecimal entry boxes, the software
rounds that entry down to the nearest correct value. If a value below the minimum output
voltage is entered, the software uses the minimum value.
Use the
Vpos Discharge
and
Vneg Discharge
checkboxes to enable and disable the output discharge
resistors.
•
Check the
Vpos Discharge
check box to enable the Vpos discharge resistor. Uncheck this checkbox to
disable the discharge resistor.
•
Check the
Vneg Discharge
check box to enable the Vneg discharge resistor. Uncheck this checkbox to
disable the discharge resistor.
6.3.2
Application
Use the
Smartphone
and
Tablet
radio buttons to select if the TPS65132L operates in Smartphone mode
or Tablet mode. The maximum output current in Tablet mode is higher than in Smartphone mode. Refer to
the TPS65132L data sheet (
) for more information.
