Configure measurement-specific settings, timing, triggering, and
scaling, if necessary. If one or more channels are configured for TEDS
sensors, some settings loaded from TEDS are not editable.

You can add virtual channels of the same measurement type to the task.
In NI-DAQmx 7.3 or later, virtuals channels can be of a different
measurement type, such as adding temperature virtual channels to a
voltage task. Click the add button to add a virtual channel.

Select the measurement type to add from the drop-down list.

Select the physical channel(s) from which to create local virtual
channels in the task. Alternatively, you can add existing global
virtual channels to the task or copy information from an existing
global virtual channels to the local virtual channel.

Save the task.

If you opened the DAQ Assistant from LabVIEW or
LabWindows/CVI, click
OK
.

If you opened the DAQ Assistant from Measurement Studio,
select
File»Save
.

If you opened the DAQ Assistant from MAX, click
Save Task
