Signal Acquisition
If a custom filter is not programmed through the NI-DAQmx Channel Property Node,
NI-DAQmx will use a default filter, which is sufficient for most applications. The default time
domain mode filter achieves a good balance between the ability to capture high bandwidth
events and filtering out modulator noise. Refer to the
PXIe-4480/4481 Specifications
for more
information about the default filter and the performance of time domain mode when using the
default filter. Step response is affected by both the analog front and the digital filter. Figure 3-3
through Figure 3-6 show full-scale step responses for all four voltage ranges.
