The TB-4353 contains eight thermistors that are used to measure the temperature of the adjacent screw
terminal junctions for the CJC that is performed when computing the thermocouple temperature
measurement. These eight thermistors are measured using the CJC channels on the NI PXIe-4353
module. Each thermistor measures the CJC temperature for a subset of associated thermocouple
channels as shown in Figure 10. The dashed lines indicate the channel to CJC associations.NI-DAQmx
automatically associates the correct thermistor with the thermocouple measurements when you use the
Thermocouple Channel-Type
and select
built-in
for the CJC source.
