MITE A c u stom ASIC designed by National Instr u ments that implements the
PCI b u s interface. The MITE s u pports b u s mastering for high speed data
transfers over the PCI b u s.
motion encoders Transd u cers that generate p u lses to indicate the physical motion of a
device. The most common type of motion encoders are q u adrat u re
encoders. Two-p u lse encoders (also referred to as u p/down encoders) are
