Those machines that are used outdoors,
connect via a residual current device (FI) with
max 30 mA operating current, Extension cord
to be used in a design for outdoors usage.

At work, hold the machine always firmly with
both hands and ensure a safe position.
�
Make sure the cut material is fixed properly.
�
Always guide the machine in the shear with
power on.
�
Use protective gloves and safety boots for
work.
�
Always keep the direction of the movable
supply from the tools backwards.
�
Do not move the machine behind the cord.
�
Insert the movable supply plug in the socket
only if the machine is turned off.
�
Persons under 16 are not allowed to operate
the machine.
Symbols used in the manual
and on the machine
Read the instructions carefully.

Putting in operation and use
Make sure the information on the factory tag
corresponds with the actual voltage of the power
source.
Make sure the socket plug type is compatible
with the type of socket.
The tools designed for 230 V can be connected
also to 220/240 V.
Power On
Slide the switch button (1) forward to turn the
machine on. If you press the front part of the
button it will lock, thus achieving constant run.
Power Off
Press the rear part of the switch button shortly
(1) to unlock the button and return it to the Off
position by the pressure of the spring.
Work instructions
Always guide the shears in the shear with power
on, under the 75°–80° angle. The you will achieve
a clear shear and favourable speed.
Do not force the shears in the shear.
Shearing radiuses
Do not tilt the shears to one side, push them
carefully into the shear. Too much shift reduces
serviceability of knives and may result in shears
damage.
Sharp knives ensure neat shear and favourable
speed, whilst saving the shears.
Do not regrind the knives. We recommend either
well-timed swinging of the knife or its replace-
ment.
When shearing according to a pre-drawn line,
especially when cutting shapes, the shears
should be in reverse position, i.e. with shoe
above the cut material.
Motor electronics
Starting current limitation
Electronically controlled continual running secures
device acceleration without back thrust. Due to
starting current limitation in the device, 10A pro-
tection is sufficient.
Protection against re-starting
Prevent uncontrolled starting of the device after
current supply cut off. For re-starting, the device
must be first switched off and again switched on.
